What is the TEAS 7?
The ATI TEAS 7 (Test of Essential Academic Skills) is a standardized exam many nursing and allied health programs use in admissions. The scored portion has 150 questions across four areas: Reading (39 scored), Mathematics (34 scored), Science (44 scored), and English & Language Usage (33 scored). On the official computer exam, ATI also includes 20 unscored questions (field-test items) for 170 total — you will not know which are unscored.
Cut scores vary by school and cohort; many programs publish a minimum Adjusted Individual Score or composite. Always confirm targets with your program — we do not quote a single “passing” percentage.
